How can I activate my BlackBerry Individual Service e-mail account?
In order to be able to use the e-mail feature in your mobile device, you should create an account. The account you create determined the default e-mail address for your mobile device.
- Verify that wireless communication feature of your mobile device is on and that you are covered by the network. If the Sign In screen does not start automatically, click on 5-Click E-mail Activation.
- In the Sign In screen, click on Create Your Account; and in order to follow a link shown in the browser, click on the relevant link and Get Link. (Further steps may also be performed online. For this, you should click on the Create Your Account on page at http://avea.blackberry.com. In this case, you will be asked to enter your PIN and IMEI information. You can find such information on the label on your device's box).
- Click on Continue.
- Click on I Disagree to refuse the legal terms and conditions and to cancel the installation or I Agree to accept them and continue installation.
- Enter the information requested for the e-mail account to be defined for you trying not to use the letters "ç, Ç, ð, Ð, ý, Ý, ö, Ö, þ, Þ, ü, Ü":
User ID: Define your personal user ID to be used for your account. This user ID will be your name to start a session and will constitute the first part of the default e-mail address of your device; you can enter name/family name in this area. (for example, ahmetkara; then your e-mail address shall be defined as ahmetkara@avea.blackberry.com.)
Friendly Name: Enter the name you want to be shown in the From area in your messages. If you do not enter a name, your default e-mail address for the device shall be seen in the From area.
Password: Enter a password to start a session. The passwords should contain 4 to 16 characters. The passwords are case sensitive and stressed characters cannot be used.
Re-enter Password: Re-enter your personal password to start a session.
- Click on Submit and Done.
- In order to receive e-mails from other accounts by the mobile device, click on Add Account. Click on Continue if you want to start a session with the account you created without adding other accounts.
How can I set by BlackBerry Individual Service account to receive the messages from my other existing e-mail accounts as well?
You can set your BlackBerry Individual Service account to receive the e-mails from your existing e-mail account and to deliver them to your mobile device. (Yu can add maximum 10 different accounts)
- Verify that wireless communication feature of your mobile device is on and that you are covered by the line.
- Start a session with your BlackBerry Individual Service account.
- Click on Add (In order to follow a link shown in the browser, click on the relevant link and then Get Link)
- Enter the information for the account you would like to add.
E-mail Address: Enter the full e-mail address for the account.
User Name: Enter the session ID (for example, ahmetkara).
Password: Enter the password.
Re-enter Password: Enter the password once more.
- Click on Submit.
- You may be asked to select an account type depending on the account you add.
- Please enter the following depending on the account type you choose:
E-mail Server: Enter the server address.
Port Number: Enter the relevant port number.
Outlook Web Access URL: Enter the web address for your Microsoft Outlook account.
MailBox Name: Enter the mailbox name of your Microsoft Outlook account.
iNotes URL: Enter the web address for your IBM Lotus Notes account.
Leave messages on mail server: If you don't want the messages sent to your mobile device to be stored in the mail server, remove the check in this box.
Utilize SSL: While receiving messages from this account, you can activate Secure Sockets Layer coding.
- Click on Submit.

You can add up to 10 different accounts to your BlackBerry Individual Service account.

Start a session with your BlackBerry Individual Service account.
- Click on here under the option Send From Address.
- Choose one of the following on the Send From Address screen:
- In order to use the default account of your mobile device as Send From Address, choose I want my Sent From Address to be my handheld e-mail address.
- In order to use the address of one of your created accounts, choose I want to choose one of the e-mail accounts I have set up to be my Sent From Address. Click on Submit and choose an account.
- To use another e-mail address, choose I want to customize my Sent from Address setting to use an e-mail address that I'll enter. Click on Submit and enter the e-mail address.

You can subscribe to a 2 MB* pack for 15.48 TRY or to the unlimited pack for 32.68 TRY. the prices include all the taxes. The GPRS included in the pack contains the GPRS traffic arising out of sending and receiving e-mails and the online use with the Internet Browser of the device. All the other services (voice calls, SMS, WAP etc.) shall be priced based on the existing tariff of the subscriber.
*Uses over 2 MB shall be priced by the Standard GPRS tariff.
